A Different World

I just finished I Am Malala. It was really good, although a bit confusing.

It was the in-depth story of Malala Yousafzai, the girl who the Taliban shot just because she stood up for education. It was really eye-opening because education is a basic right in the USA. It’s required, and everyone has access to it. But in Malala’s Pakistan, girls are not expected to go to school. Some people even believe girls shouldn’t go to school.

I really liked it because Malala wasn’t deterred from her mission with all the obstacles she faced. However, it was confusing because she used a lot of words from her native language. Go read it. It’s worth it.
