Since my graduation from college in May, I’ve pretty much felt every emotion possible. Happy, sad, excited, scared – the whole nine yards. Something else I’ve learned is that some people have no idea how anxiety works.
I read a post my friend shared on Facebook Friday: “26 Things You do As An Adult When You’ve Experienced Childhood Emotional Abuse”. It was scary how much sense some of it made.
All I have to say is this: Whoever said “sticks and stones may break your bones, but words can never hurt you” was a liar.
