I was flipping through my Happier 2017 page-a-day calendar, and I came across something that I wanted to save for later.
It’s from January 27, 2017:
“Save string” is a term that journalists use. It means that you should save your loose ends, your unfinished thoughts, the facts that didn’t get used. Later, that string can turn into something useful.
I obviously saved the calendar page because I wanted to use it later. I also have a notebook for scenes in my novel, and I also have the “Chapters” app on my iPhone when I don’t have access to my notebook. I have another notebook – sort of like a journal – where I write down important things like my personal goals and thoughts about what I’m going through in life.
How do you “save string”?
