I’m not really afraid of conventional things. Needles don’t bother me. Funny, that’s the only conventional fear that I can think of. But that doesn’t mean I’m fearless. Here are some things I’m afraid of:
- Department store mannequins – Especially the ones with faces. I don’t really know why, but it’s always been that way. Sometimes I can’t even walk past them.
- Halloween Masks – Particularly ones with lots of blood and/or disfigurement. One time, my father sat in front of me with a really bloody mask on. I just looked down at my feet. He thought I’d know it was him and be okay with it. Not so much.
- I don’t really do Horror movies – I can’t say I’ve seen a lot of them, but I generally avoid them because of blood, etc.
- Dolls – the only ones I ever liked were Barbie and American Girl.
I’m sure I have more, but that’s all I can think of right now.
