Peppermint

After Riley North (Jennifer Garner) loses her husband and daughter to a Mexican cartel, she becomes a vigilante to get revenge.

The beginning of this movie is a bit misleading, but other than that, it was awesome. It was a whole new level of Jennifer Garner. She’s not just the nice lady from the Capital One commercials. She can also be a badass when she needs to be.

There were lots of weapons, and there was a lot of blood. There were barely any scenes where someone wasn’t shooting a gun or being shot. The fight scenes were almost comical because of how outrageous they were. It sounds bad because laughter is inappropriate in movies like this one, but it’s true.

The movie was also quite dramatic as well. Lots of scenes were in slow motion and the music added to the tension.

It’s definitely something worth seeing.
