If you read Friday’s post, you’ll know that I was a bit apprehensive, to say the least, about Rachel Platten’s new song.
Today, Rachel Platten performed a new song on Good Morning America. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful song written by a beautiful human being:
I’m a “grammar nazi”, and I know it. It takes all my self control not to correct people. Sometimes I can’t help it and I correct them anyway.
I’ll admit I swear a lot more than I used to. It’s part of the reason my vocabulary seems to have shrunk, which is not exactly something I’m proud of.
I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately. I’m almost done with one of the stories I’m working on.
This is one of my biggest grammar pet peeves.
